All I did Pete was a clean install of 1946, patched to 4.09, then added the unified install.
Re-directed H/L to it, all worked hunky dorey.

Peter your patched version for Brigs SE might work straight off to.
I'll try and help Cookie when I get on, then maybe a quick sess in there if we all have it installed/working and BOB server is up? IL2 has gone quiet for days now so hopefully a new map is coming ![]() Mk1 Spits over Cannon's channel map, I've just got to fly it ![]() I've got the JU88 Torp version as per Cookie's link at the start of the thread and it's working so far..... Other coops and stuff if people are having probs.

Thanks Swoop. I'm updating Brigs SE for the Malta mission tonight so I'll see if that version will allow me into the BoB server too. I'll update a new clean 4.08m version for the BoB server too just in case, cover all the angles

Not sure what happened with the Malta mission, I was in at 20:45 but saw nothing happening
But anyway, the SEOW install works for the BoB server too and it is bloody amazing, we're not stuck for something to fly for the next millenium Everyone please get that BoB mod and trust me it will be worth any aggro you get if it doesn't work right away. It feels like a new sim and it's hugely immersive Cookie after flying and winding down I remembered something that might help you with your install although I know Andy did his best for you, thanks Andy! When you install the SEOW mod you need to install the (many) updates to your /MODS/SEOW Italy 1940-1945 (or similarly-named folder within the MODS folder) I saw in the SEOW-install instructions some ambiguity with 'your main folder' mentioned We only have one main folder for this sim and that is your Ubisoft/Il-2 Sturmovic folder (or similarly-named folder) All other folders within that main folder are sub-folders. So someone might say 'your main folder' when they may mean 'your main folder you're using for these mods' - have a check that you've installed stuff to the right folder... that would account for your 'Only got to 95% and then seized up' problem. Sounds as if it's nearly working, never give up, never surrender ![]() If I was doing it all again I would install a clean copy of 4.08m and then install the SEOW mod, following Brigstock's instructions in our private forum. Brigs would help you out I bet if you get completely stuck, and trust me it will be worth it because then you'll be able to fly both SEOW and the BoB-mod server from the same mod version Fantastic session Swoop and Chris, the real thing at last. EAW2: Return of The Zone ![]() Mram I'm watching you laddie. You too Mikke you pair of bloody turncoats working for Fat Boy Goering on an EAF meet night ![]() Ming |

Patience padawan, the mission is scheduled for 21:00. If you was in at 20:47 you'd have seen people start turning up ![]() the SEOW install works for the BoB server too No it don't, the E1 is not part of SEOW AWI, you need to install the E1 or they will be invisible to you in the BoB server. I've posted in 602 a link to the single plane. I tried it with AWI and it looks compatable. |

Cookie.. I haven't got SEOW installed, just 4.09bm accessed through the version switcher with the required modded aircraft and the bob server loads up fine.. I don't have the Ju88 Torp version as I've had problems with it, but can still fly on the bob server no dramas..

Sorry I was unclear chaps, start again- The SEOW install runs under the dogfight server powered by IL2SCGT (www.gennadic.com) - the BoBLW10 outfit Which BoB server doesn't the SEOW install run under please then Brigstock? If you was in at 20:47 you'd have seen people start turning up I was at HL at 20:47 Brigstock as well as at 20:45, the SEOW room was empty and only Swoop and Chris on. Try not to contradict everything I say Brigstock, find a way to express yourself without your rather terse "No it's not" interjections and your inscrutable "You just thought you were at Hyperlobby, in fact you were dreaming Ming" replies ta mate Ming |
